I'm Rose, and I ride a
Honda VTX1300. I've been riding
on and off for the last 36
years. My Dad bought me my first
bike at 15 and taught me how to
ride...and off I went! I've ridden in
Southern California along the
beaches and up to Big Bear
Mountain, and have ridden in 9
states (AZ, CA, CO, KS, NM, NV,
OK, TX, & UT)...but nothing has been
more memorable in my riding
experiences, than when we
started up the Desert Diamonds
Chapter...
I now ride with the best
sisters anyone could ask for. I
have learned so much from them,
and miss them when I ride solo
to work. I can't ever imagine
not ever belonging to this
group, and look forward to many
more years of riding with all my
sisters.

Vice
President:
Monica aka: Gypzie
Hi, I feel like a new woman
since I learned how to ride!
I loved riding motorcycles while
I was a teen, always as a
passenger.
In July 2003, I took a motorcycle
riding class, and life has not
been the same since then.
I joined the Desert Diamonds
shortly after I purchased my 1st
bike and they have since become
an extended family.
I keep asking myself "why did I
wait so long to get my own?"
Riding my Harley is the best
de-stressor there is! I love to
ride, travel, read, movies,
cooking & eating. I'm a PM for
the Technologies division of my
company, and I find it ironic
that another women and I are the only riders in our
group!

Hi! I’m Jodie, and have been riding since 1997. (Was a passenger from 1989-1997, then decided
to learn to ride my own!)
Since I took the MSF Class, I’ve had
4 Yamaha Viragos (a 750 and 3-1100’s).
I’ve ridden over 132,000 miles in a little over 11 years.
Have
been riding with WITW since May 1999. Rode as far as Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA and have been through Washington, Oregon, Nevada,
Arizona, and California on my various scoots.
Recently moved to Arizona from
San Jose, CA, so I’m discovering
the roads here! I tend to take curvy roads at a comfortable pace, having both lead and tail-gunnered
many WITW rides in the SF Bay Area.
Hope you can join us on a future ride.

Hi, I'm Linda and have
been riding with this group
since it started in 2004. With
Team AZ and the help of the gals
in this group, I have become a
proficient rider!
I've had a number of
bikes, and have been riding in
AZ, CA, CO, NM, NV, & UT. The
experience of riding is
something I've always
wanted...and now, I can't get
enough of!
I couldn't ask for a
better bunch of sisters and
friends like the ones in this
group, and look forward to all
the years ahead.

My name is Deborah
Outman. I've been riding off an on for 40 yrs. My 1st husband wouldn't let me have one of my own, so I made a big decision
and changed my life after 26 yrs.
I met my soul mate and he said he would love for me to have my own bike, so at the ripe
young age of 48 I got my own. It was a purple & white 1995 Honda VLX 600. I rode it for 7 yrs putting 85,000 miles
on her traveling all over the USA, even got to ride a friends in Hawaii Memorial Day 2005.
I now have a beautiful
silver 2004 Honda VTX 1300 - - -what a smooth ride; I have 23,900 miles on this one. I ride to work almost every day
to my Special Ed school bus driver job, which I love. I'm now 58 yrs young and don't have any plans to stop riding
as long as I can hold her up. And if that gets to be troublesome, my dream is to have a purple 1800 Gold Wing
Trike.

Hi, my name is Jane and I
started riding July 2003 and
have been a member of the Desert
Diamonds for about as long. I
started on the back of a Harley
with my hubby until he got his
chopper and I was "pushed to
learn to ride or stay at home".
I'm so glad he pushed me to
ride. I can't believe I waited
until I was 47 years young to
learn to ride my own. I was
born to be on a bike! There
are so many places to ride and
so little time.
I took a motorcycle riding
course with Monica (in our club,
too) and I started out on a 2001
Deuce. Now, I am riding a 2003
Standard. (I still have my
Deuce).
I love riding my Harleys and
just did my first long road trip
(3,000+ miles) last summer to
Sturgis with my hubby. We have a
close-knit group of ladies in
our chapter and always have fun
when we get together and ride.
They are what true sisterhood is
all about!

Well here goes, My name is Sandi and I started riding back in Ohio in the mid 60's. My husband @ the time brought home a 250 dirt bike for us to ride. He wanted me to jump on the back
and go for a spin, well needless to say that didn't last long. Mr. Macho wanted to show off. I made him stop & I got off and went & got my own bike and have been riding my own since then.
I have owned all brands
and sizes of bikes over the years; from Honda Shadows to Gold Wings, Venture Royale to Harleys. I have belonged to GWRR, WOW, HOG,
and WITW.
During my 35 yrs in Calif. I don't think there is a road in S. Calif. that I haven't been on. Been to Sturgis 2x's, rode to Bike Week & to WITW Natl's. in Tampa. I love to ride, long & short rides. I now ride 06 Harley Road King.

I started riding in the
80s and found out in 1989 that
crotch rockets and baby bumps
don't fit. So, I gave up riding
for a while.
I began riding on the
street again in 2002. Our family
also picked up some dirt bikes
and had some family fun playing
in the desert.
I am happy I have found
such great group of ladies to
ride with.

I've been riding since
2005, commuting on my bike to
work and going out for rides
with my husband and the gals
from this group.
My bike is a 2006 Suzuki
Boulevard S50 and as you can
see, I like the color pink!

I started riding Feb.
2006. I have a 2005 Suzuki C90
Boulevard. I rode passenger for the
2 yrs prior to riding my own. I
Loved the feel of riding and
that is what really influenced
me to ride.
Riding to me is one of the
greatest feelings of freedom.
There is nothing like going for
a ride to get rid of all your
worries & stress.
